And it’s awesome.
Sonic Colors has been out for a few months now, the third Wii-exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog game and one of the best next-gen Sonics for any system so far. The plot, revolving around an interstellar amusement park that is really part of Dr. Robotnik’s latest scheme, is played for humor much more than drama, but even when this approach is grating, it’s at most a momentary diversion. This isn’t a game about story–it’s a game about speed, reflexes, and learning how to get better times and higher scores in a system dominated by color-based powers unlike anything ever seen in a Sonic title.

I made this “poster” a while ago, but never got around to putting it up (I wasn’t happy with how it came out–in particular, that enlarged-hand thing I do just doesn’t work in a mixed-depth composition). It was intended to correspond with the new site design, I believe, which was already months ago. For those of you not familiar with Neon Genesis Evangelion, here’s a link you can use to find the source image.
